The extremely long blades are the motor in a wind turbine, and they extract all the energy from the wind. After the manufacturing process they must be moved, transported and handled with care. The gearbox for the wind turbine is also heavy equipment which must be moved safely and securely both inside and outside the manufacturing location. Wind energy capacity has advanced significantly over the past ten years and new wind farms are continuously under development.
