These elements can reach considerable weight and require reliable solutions for transport and handling, both in precast plants and on construction sites.

Morello develops solutions for transporting precast concrete elements, designed to move panels, beams and large structures between the different stages of production, storage, loading and installation.

Each precast concrete transport cart can be configured according to weight, dimensions, geometry, center of gravity, pallet type and maneuvering space. The loading platform and any dedicated supports are designed to ensure stability when handling concrete elements.

For precast panels over 12 meters long and weighing more than 60 tons, Morello developed two omnidirectional self-propelled transporters with lifting loading platforms, designed to operate both indoors and outdoors. In tunnel construction, the transport of precast segments requires vehicles capable of handling heavy, repetitive elements in demanding operating conditions.

Morello develops solutions for moving segments used for tunnel lining, with configurations of up to 60 tons designed according to load capacity, element geometry, flooring, available space and cycle frequency. Each tunnel segment carrier can be developed to support continuous handling operations between production, storage and transfer areas.

Construction site mobility for precast elements

Construction logistics require reliable vehicles to transfer precast elements from the production area to the storage or installation point without interrupting site activities.

A Morello’s construction site transporter can be designed to adapt to indoor and outdoor routes, gradients, confined spaces and different flooring conditions. Battery-electric power also helps reduce noise and local emissions, supporting more efficient prefab handling in plants and on job sites.

Outdoor job site operation with omnidirectional transporters

For plants and construction sites where maneuvering space is limited, omnidirectional steering allows the vehicle to rotate on its own axis, move sideways, travel diagonally or change direction by 90°.

In OMNI transporters, each wheel has an independent electric motor, while the hydraulic suspension allows the vehicle to adapt to uneven surfaces, making it suitable for use both inside plants and in outdoor areas.
